Personally, I did see the "Chechen" video, ran it through a few times to try and verify that it was quite real. Sometimes, armies/mercenaries/militant groups tend to videotape things like that in order to send a propoganda-type message to their enemies, to fuck with them mentally, and I must say I found it very disturbing. So much so that I must admit....I didn't click on the link you posted on this thread. viewing the death or suffering of others just doesn't hold any interest for me.

As for what dig420 is saying, I can respect the rights of others that do find that shit fascinating to watch. My old roommate used to watch reality shit like that all the time, and I'm sure he looks for it on the internet to this day wherever he is. Big deal. He's about the biggest pacifist I've ever known, but there he is, looking at death scenes.

A huge part of the US was "explored" by the French in early 1600.

This explains names such as " Terre-Haute", St-Louis ( yes, King of France ), Baton Rouge , Louisiana ( same king, different number) and so on...

So a lot of names are french as origin and were slightly modified with the years.... So Labret could be a french name ( tough I am not familiar with such a name), but be as American as any cowboy of Texas....
