Most people just join the free ones these days as the results are often better.

I did a test with free and pay and found free was full of real people, but the pay ones not.

Sure you will get sales but I think it will not be long before the pay ones are no more.

Free dating sites are nothing new in the market. Each model has it's own benefits and short comings. 90% of free site revenue is still generated by upselling members to paid dating communities ad they have been doing so for years. I feel that alone is pretty strong evidence they will continue to co-exist for years to come without cannibalizing eachother.

Stay away from AFF/GIO unless you want chargebacks. Since the beginning of 2010, I have almost $11k in chargebacks. That's ludicrous.
