Free dating sites are nothing new in the market. Each model has it's own benefits and short comings. 90% of free site revenue is still generated by upselling members to paid dating communities ad they have been doing so for years. I feel that alone is pretty strong evidence they will continue to co-exist for years to come without cannibalizing eachother.
