LightSpeed Hacked?
I just got a suspicious email from [email protected]. Hell No I aint replying foo.
Email 1: Subject: IMPORTANT LIGHTSPEED CASH AFFILIATES INFO All Affiliates based in the USA must send the following information to [email protected] Your Account number: Your payto name: Are you a corporation? If yes what is your Federal Tax ID number ? If you are not a corporation what is your Social Security Number? Your check will be withheld untill we have this information from you! Please email [email protected] with this information Immediatly. Thank you Lightspeedcash Email 2: I am sorry if you recieved this twice we had an error This message is being sent due to many people with improper info we need to get it all corrected All Affiliates based in the USA must send the following information to [email protected] Your Account number: Your payto name: Are you a corporation? How did people sign up to these programs without providing this information in the first place ? I thought almost everyone collected this info when the affiliate first signs up.

hmmm.....well, i wont be sending that info through email. if they need that info again they can set up a form on their site.
this doesnt seem professional and im highly suspicious of it. guess i need to look for a new sponsor  |
