I just got a suspicious email from [email protected]. Hell No I aint replying foo.

Email 1: Subject: IMPORTANT LIGHTSPEED CASH AFFILIATES INFO
All Affiliates based in the USA must send the following
information to [email protected]

Your Account number:
Your payto name:
Are you a corporation?
If yes what is your Federal Tax ID number ?
If you are not a corporation what is your Social Security Number?

Your check will be withheld untill we have this information from you!
Please email [email protected] with this information Immediatly.

How did people sign up to these programs without providing this information in the first place ? I thought almost everyone collected this info when the affiliate first signs up.

hmmm.....well, i wont be sending that info through email. if they need that info again they can set up a form on their site.
this doesnt seem professional and im highly suspicious of it.
guess i need to look for a new sponsor :(
