Streamray DNS setup problems - anyone out there (Lars)?
Anyone running streamray cams with own domains?
This is the info they give, but I can't figure out how to do it and my host won't do DNS redirections. How do you insert info in domain tables??? --------------------------------------- The information highlighted in yellow below must be inserted into the DNS TABLES for yoursubdomainname.yourDomainName.com before your site can become active. This information must be added to the DNS configuration table for your domain exactly as it appears below. This includes the period at the very end of the line. yoursubdomainname IN CNAME partners.streamray.com. --------------------------------------- |

I could be wrong but I think they are saying point the C-Name to their partners.steamray.com
Example your.domain.com. IN CNAME partners.steamray.com. I mean it doesn't get any easier. Who handles your DNS?? If you don't have the tech dept get it done at your host provider. |

exactly if you want to do livcams.yourdomain.com you need to have someone enter the info into your DNS The CNAME pointer. If this is not an available option you can still doa co brand on streamray URL like yourname.streamray.com I am not sure how often we update the dns server on our end but prolly a couple times a day. So if you set it up you may have to wait a bit before it actually appears and propogates around the web. If you do your own Cname DNS update it will also take about 24 hours to get on all others dns boxes. But can take up to 3 days sometimes. Hope that helps |

i got the domain tables right but fucked up the title where it says dont use special characters
i emailed to ask for it to be deleted yesterday, lars if you have a chance can you delete the folder so i can regenerate it properly? the folder it created was: .;%20Cams.AsylumX.com%20:. looks like the spaces fucked it up
