TGP's at the end of 2010

depends where do you submit your galls, but basically all tgp/mgp sites have less traffic than before...

I'd guess most people visiting tubes these days don't even know what a TGP/MGP is.

A typical hun or worldsex listing will bring about 30k-50k to your gallery nowadays. Ratios are up.

Thanks. My assumption would be that although traffic is down, ratios would be much better than your standard tube. Some standard TGP/MGP's still have high SE placement so the traffic cant be that low. Nothing like the glory days but with less affiliates submitting, curious as to the ROI compared to a few years ago.

ratios would be good because the people still surfing tgp sites are idiots that don't know about tube sites yet. They are more inclined to buy because they are only getting a sample for free.

TGPs are still a nice little promo tool .. just cant stand alone as they once could.

My affiliates are doing very well with submiitting the FHG's to TGP sites. Of course, the high traffic TGP sites are the ones that bring in the majority of the traffic from the gallery submissions. That's really all there is to it too. It just depends on the traffic intake of the TGP site(s) that you obtain partner accounts from. After all, the more traffic - the more sales. That is, if you are promoting content that converts. Obviously, that is a big factor in generating sales for yourself.

Traffic down, Ratio same..

I`d be curious to see what type of ratios are being achieved from submitting pic & movie galleries only. Obviously traffic volumes are way lower but lots of people still seem to be of the opinion that ratios are considerably better than with tube traffic?

This is the assumption I had. If you're wasting time looking at pics and ads you havent spent that much time on the web and you would be an easier conversion.

Lots of them are still doing well. that is the people that actually know what they are doing with the system in the first place.

because not every surfers are only looking for vids, TGP ( read pictures ) are still very popular.
Although real tgp, the old definition of, that accept submissions are things of 1999, new TGP's, aka CJ's, are still rocking nowadays!!

( only judging by the amount of new sites built everyday using RSTGP )

if you don't go too general and really into sub-niches, you still can do great with that kind of sites!

Anyways, if you are promoting sologirls that get completely nude on their sites with only non-nude promo stuff, assumptions are that you will do better compare as if you were using all nude stuff of them...

Same thing as if you promote only with pix a paysite that offer vids...

As somebody that was a reviewer on one of the main tgps back in 'the day', I will state that you are indeed correct. That was the start of the end.

There will always someone who would perfer the mgp/tgp (especially the tgp) format, but truth is most visitors perfer something they don't need to download first and see/watch the stuff later.

Truth is more and more tgp/mgp converting to tube either if u like it or not. What I recommended is for those tgp/mgp owner is start putting up a tube subsection because sooner or later your traders will covnerts their sites to tube and you have an option to their accept them to trade with your tgp/mgp or better to ask them to send traffic to your subsection and trade with tube only.

Another problem with tgp/mgp is that SE generally like tube better because they are more depth in their site. Fortunately there are tools that can help you KEEP your favorite rotator script like ST/TGPX/RSTGP etc., while at the same time convert one of your pages to tube. Here's an example of one site I build with TGPX with a tube section (not I'm not trading with any tube yet in my tube section):

Where photos don't need to be downloaded like tube movies don't need to be.

I don't think a stand alone tgp/mgp will allow you to grow your site big anymore. It possible but increasing difficult. For those of you like me who still prefer to be legit and keep the TGP/MGP format, you need to at least make addition modification to your site in order to make it flexible to for it to grow.

The only thing you need to do is create a tube/photo template. The design of your tube site is done by TGPX/ST/ etc or whatever your are currently using and that's it. No need to import gallery or anything, as script will automatically convert your gallery to tube page. Of course you can use it as a CMS to build your own gallery too if u don't want tube.
