Going through the legal process is more productive and professional. Also, the other party's name won't have to be dragged through the mud. Unless, of course, that is your intention.
The route you appear to be on does opens up the risk, albeit slight, of a counter-suit of defamation, depending upon the steps that you already have taken to notify said party of their delinquency in regards to payment of what is owed to you.Comment
