Trades work well when you're starting out

Back in the olden days when our main site (BrickhouseBetty.net) was starting out, we never got many click-throughs from paid links. We found that trading hard links with similar sites that were in about the same situation as us helped build traffic for everyone slowly. That in turn makes it easier to convince webmasters with slightly higher traffic to trade with you. Eventually this method will get your traffic to grow more rapidly and you'll in turn see better results in the search engines. Don't get me wrong... ads always help if placed on a site that caters to your audience, but you don't want to spend so much money that you end up having to shut down.

Well, if trading is such a big no no, why is there even a section here called "Traffic Trades?" Everyone is entitled to his opinion, and quite frankly this is all subjective anyway. We are just telling what worked for us. SEM never worked for us. Now our traffic is primarily organic, with most of our traffic coming from people actually searching for our site directly. There's a lot of trial and error in building traffic. There's no one means to an end.

Well, for me its not a good idea to buy a traffic. Buying a traffic can't guarantee you to have a sales.

At CJTraffic.com, we manage a vast network of traffic comprised of over 75,000,000 monthly surfers from our sites: ConsumptionJunction.com, SteakandCheese.com, FreakHole.com, Revengeworld.com, PornPimps.com, PornSavvy.com, WeeklyWipe.com, SickSiteRadio.com, and SickSiteNetwork.com. These sites are all highly interactive, user-driven sites with a very loyal following who request over 222,000,000 monthly page impressions and create over 8,500,000 monthly clicks for our advertisers.

We specialize in generating targeted, great-converting traffic. All our traffic comes from sites we own and run. Our sites have grown virally by word of mouth. Our visitors trust us and recommend us to their friends. By uniquely displaying ads in and around our content, we help our clients achieve great conversion rates and retention rates. When you advertise with CJTraffic, you can be certain that every click to your website is highly targeted and the surfer has a proven interest in your product.

Our customers enjoy the benefits of our advanced ad serving technology which maximizes the effectiveness AND simplicity of campaigns! We've spent the last year and a half developing a revolutionary new system that automatically optimizes campaigns for our clients. Our system intelligently distributes your ads across our network to ensure you get the best quality traffic as quickly as possible. Here are a few of the benefits:

                * Click-Thru Ratio Optimization: If you provide multiple Text Link and Banner creatives for your site, we automatically adjusts the percentage of rotation each ad gets based on click-through ratio so that ads which deliver clicks quickly are displayed more often.
                * Support for Rich Media Creatives: We now support interactive banner formats like Flash, Hosted Banners, and HTML banners. If you've got it, we can serve it!
                * Advanced Conversion Tracking: Are you a number cruncher? No problem! You can provide unique tracking URL's for each creative you send us. We can also use unique URL's for each of our traffic sites so you can track the performance of each of our sites separately.
                * Detailed Performance Statistics: Our reporting interface will quickly and easily give you details on every aspect of your campaign including clicks, impressions, click-thru ratios broken down by each of our sites and each of your creatives.
                * Streamlined Creative Submission and Management: Once you've purchased a campaign it's simple to submit AND update your Banner and Text Link creatives. Simply use our automated Creative Submission Page
                * Day of the Week Exclusions: Is there a particular day of the week that your site doesn't convert as well? No problem. Just let us know and we'll automatically exclude specific days of the week from your campaign.
                * Linked Banner and Text Link Ad Positions: Our sites have multiple Banner and Text Link Ad positions on each page. There's no point in displaying more than one of your Banner Ad or more than one Text Link Ad on each page (the user can only click once after all). So our system keeps track of all your ads in all our positions to ensure you only have one Banner Ad or one Text Link Ad displayed for each page impression.
                * Frequency Caps: If a visitor has seen your Banner Ad several times and not clicked on it, he or she isn't going to. So why waste time? So we limit the number of times a particular Banner Ad is displayed to each visitor. By default, this limit is five but you can request any number you'd like.

You can always buy some traffic, but make sure you have a site that's worth returning to....and a strategically placed "Bookmark" link so they will return instead of throwing your bought traffic away.

Worth returning = something that looks fresh and update often, that has easy navigation and good, simple design.

I agree with the SE traffic - which blogs easily pick up anyway, but you still have to know how to optimize them more.

Anyway, for bought traffic - hit me up.
