just posted this in the main forum but im thinking it may belong here.
Ive setup a directory to hopefully help generate a few more links to another site im promoting. Rather than reciprocals ive set it up as an ABC setup with return links pointing to the site im promoting.
Its also been modified so that rather than your link appearing on a page in a list with a load of other sites, each link is on its own page with customisable meta tags and a long description so as to ensure google considers the link relevant.
I was waiting for the toolbar pr to update but that seems to take forever nowadays. My main site links to the directory and that has 40 or so pr4/5 inbound links so the directory will have decent pr once the toolbar updates.
In the interim anyone submitting a site can have one of the featured site slots meaning that their site is always at the top of the page.
