A lot of you have added your blogs to my adult blog aggregator www.pudcat.com I thought I'd let you know that (experimental) pinging is now available so that when you update your blog your headlines can go up straight away. For those that don't currently ping mainstream services, the basic idea of it is that when you update your blog you ping various servers (now mine included) to let them know that your blog has been updated.
As I mentioned it's still experimental, however as long as the url you use is exactly the same as what's in our db (just copy it from one of the categories your blog is in) then it should work correctly.
The url to ping is http://www.pudcat.com/ping/
I'm not familiar enough with the various blogging programs out there to be able to tell you how to configure it, though I'm sure if you do a little bit of searching for eg. "wordpress ping configuration" it will be pretty easy.
