To elaborate, if you promise to hardlink my site http://www.nastylittle.com/, I expect to see a link pointing to http://www.nastylittle.com/ and not something like out.php?trade=nastylittle or such. A direct link that doesn't go through traffic script. Main purpose (besides getting clicked traffic is usually to increase your search engine position.

yeah, thats fine. if someone gets pissy about you opening links in a new window tell them to logoff asap and get back to you once they've simmered down.

its not a big deal but if someone is "giving" you traffic, you should do the same..
