Juge, is there a direct effect with that ? I know there is not ONLY the link popularity.

With 1.000 sites linking your domain, can you be sure to be ranked high and receive a lot of traffic from Google ?

Link pop helps a lot. The extra traffic helps you stabilize your trades, and make money off of your traffic without losing trades. The number of hits depends on the domain name, the way people are linking to you (note that a scripted link is NOT A REAL LINK - google MAY regard it as a link, but certainly weights it less than real links), the words people are linking to you, and the keywords you are going after. It even depends on your site's content (for words), and meta tags.

All in all, google rocks because I've seen some high ranked sites from people who don't know shit (about SE's). And that's the way it's supposed to be for everyone - in a perfect world with a perfect SE.

Also, 1,000 sites linking to you, even at only 10/day is a 10k/day site. The fact that you have 1,000 sites means you are more exposed, people will want to trade with you more. Plus, at least a few of those trades will work well with your site, and you can have a 20k from just them.
