I've noticed that if I post my web address on some forums (unrelated to adult), no only do I get traffic from them, but it also boosts my site popularity. However, the think you want to avoid is spamming the boards. Try just putting your link in your sig.

Blogs are the same as boards in the since that you're just putting your URL on another site. Since that is the goal, blogs are not going to increase your PR over boards, or anything else for that matter. Besides, people aren't going to let you post your url on their blog. The reason I bring up posting your URL on other boards is because it only takes a few minutes to register with them.Comment

Guestbooks are even better as they normally have a quite high pagarank but who knows if google is still considering all this?

You're partly right and partly wrong. First, google does look at the content of the site linking to you. BUT, it doesn't go against you if the content doesn't match. Instead what they do is give you more points for the number of relevant pages that do link to you. They do this because they know people will link to any thing they want, even if it has nothing to do with what is on your page.Comment

Nice hint, doing this for quite a time now, even if you don't get any PR from it, it definately helps with linkpop
Just be a bit careful, don't flood loads of unrelated (=non-adult) guestbooks, even if the owners don't care, google doesn't like it. You could get more PR and still be ranked worse than before.Comment

So come on over to Splum's Babes forum and make a post with one or two sample pictures and a link to a gallery you made or are sponsoring and make your sig nice. Splum.com is PR5 so that should help a bit plus it gives my surfers a bit more to look at.
