I've spent a while on here swapping links, and the thing that kept wasting my time was requests that had nothing to do with my niche.
So I built AnyBacklink. It matches on topic — if your site is AI video generation, or you run a tube site, you're seeing other sites in that space rather than whatever turns up.
The other thing that kept happening: you agree a swap, add your link, and then find out the person you were talking to doesn't actually have access to add theirs. So every site on there has to be verified first — upload a text file to your root, same idea as Search Console, takes a minute. You're only ever dealing with people who can actually place the link.
