Too much like a webring and I don't like it. For adult sites, it only lowers the ability of webmasters to get people to join.

I think we are closer to a TGP than a webring. Sorry to hear that you dislike the concept but I do not see how getting visitors from our site could do any harm. The 'worst' it could do would be to lower the conversion rate but still increase the sign ups. By the way to address that concern we have enabled people to retain any link with a single click on the 'show link' button.
We also have a link exchange program that can help sites manage links (as they wish) and increase link popularity.
You might want to give it a try with one of your lower traffic pages (yuou can sign up just about any of your pages)
