Question Regarding TGP Traffic

I just recently started my own TGP.

I am still tweaking it and doing what I can to improve the layout of it.

I of course am in desperate need of traffic.

I already have a dedicated group of individuals who will be submitting galleries but I of course am going to be looking for more. I noticed some of the posts here where people have listed their galleries and I will use some of those as well to keep the content fresh and to start filling up my archives.

Plan #1 on getting traffic is:
Submitting galleries to other tgp's using my banner as the sponsor.

Plan #2
I will be buying some top spots on other tgp's of course beginning with the cheaper ones and moving up to the heavy hitters.

Plan #3
I will sell my soul to the devil.

Other than that, any one else have any good ideas on how I can generate some traffic?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and favors will be returned.

I purchased a couple of x-3 scripts:
#1 their tgp standard version
#2 their traffic trader pro version so I of course will be building up some top lists etc.

Here's a thought. Cut down on the the sponsor ads on the main page, not that you really have too many. Concentrate on sending traffic to your trades. What's better 2,000 surfers a day looking at 5 banners or 10,000 a day looking at two. You can't get anybody to click if nobody comes.

Require a recip, you really do get traffic from those submitted pages. Maybe just a little but it helps. Plus theres the whole link popularity thing!

Submit those pages with your banner that you mentioned to goolge, dmoz etc.

Take that Hun banner and link out of there, the Hun isn't sending you any traffic to that site. Get that script up and put some perm links to real trading partners. I hate to say it but hide some blink links amongst your gallery listings. Either out .cgi from your script or a permanent link to a trading partner. This also helps.

Thank you very much for the suggestions.

I've been considering removing 90% of my banners for now and just make it as surfer friendly as possible.

As far as blind links go, another great suggestion. I'm going to spend today working with that x-3 trader script to get it up and running.

I also liked your advice. I'm comparing paid hosting programs. Could you tell me if I have a TGP that gets maybe...1000 or 2000 uniques per day (I peaked) about how much bandwidth I would chew up.
