actually I used to think that joe was a bit off in the head as well, but I got over it and it looks like he returns based on what you send to him. sometimes it's productive, sometimes it's not.
if it results in some users bookmarking my page and eventually buying something, then I've got my moneys worth out of him...

Yes you are correct. Replying to a thread is fine.
The problem is that they are generally posting URL's to their signup page, yet you feel the need to reply asking them to sign up at your site. Do you see the redundancy in this? If they asked the other members for URL's to other people's trade scripts then your posts would be relevant.
