Yes and No , I took a gamble a few years ago on it due to the fact l had done some telecoms work and I could see the potential , now with all the "i" products dominating the market , more and more people are starting to associate "i" with mobile sites .... I have already handled most of the main ones such as iMobilePorn (.com)..iMobileSex ...iMobileGay...iMobileTube etc...These guys know that Mobile is NOW not the future and as the fastest growing part of the adult industry its time to go Mobile or get left behind.

The "i" terms have been steadily losing steam for a while now. More competing mobile devices in the market are diluting the interest. the iPod is no longer the standard in mobile. There is no growth in the correlation between the "i" prefix and mobile at all anymore. It spiked for a while, and is fading away already. All the keyword and search data I can see supports this. Mobile is growing huge and going to continue growing, within a couple years there won't even be a justification for stating a difference between mobile and desktop browsing. The "i" prefix on any domain being marketed as "premium" is a joke. Anyone who bites on it is a fool...

Regarding Apple and the "i" term , I think Apple will continue to produce top quality new " i " products that will keep it at the forefront of mobile technology , thus resulting in the term "i" maintaining its relevence with consumers associating it with MOBILE..

Already tens of thousands of domain owners have chosen the letter "i" at the front of thier domains to represent mobile sites and this trend will continue to grow in my view.

Of course you may not have the same vision as myself or many other business operators but to call them fools is very immature ...guess your the guy who also wrote off twitter... and facebook as gimmicks !
