Just sent a reply to you, but for everyone, I'll respond here too:

I don't know what brands they are exactly, I haven't opened one up to see.

All are brand new hard drives with a one year warranty on it.

Basically they fucked up on their webpage, and I'm taking advantage of them and their screw up. I'm getting an insane discount and I can order up to 1000 of these, but I'm not ordering that many unless I have the money up front. Believe me, they are worth every cent. And what *I* need to break even is about $3500 for 1000 of them. But right now if I sell 5 of these, that makes me break even on the 50 I was going to order. So the more I sell, the better.

yeah, unknown brands. 2-3 weeks shipping? sending paypal off to an unknown email address. $130 on newegg for a new WD external. good deal but too many questions to validate the sale especially when these could be used drives from an offshoot company.

If it is you should really dig deep into that company's history before you place any large orders, because they can very easily just pocket your money and not send you a fucking thing. If you try to contact any Chinese authorities about it they will most likely just say "Fuck off, round eye" and that will be the end of your little business venture...

Go ahead and google it if you don't believe me, there are hundreds of stories about bankrupt people, who all thought they were going to make it big in the electronics import biz, out there...

ya.. when before i sold my computer store, i used to get all kinds of emails and phone calls from companies wanting to buy or sell in large volumes.. they looked legit.. but after digging deeper they were almost always scams.

American company, here in California. Live support. They do bulk promo flash drives for conventions and so on, the HDDs are just one of the products they offer. I am going to be careful and thank you for the advice.

They pulled a Bait and Switch on me. Advertised 500GB drives, said they would honor $5 each for 50 pieces, then said they didn't have the drives and couldn't get them and offered me a smaller drive for twenty times the price.

So fucking pissed at this company.
