The script works with a template driven system, so you can easily switch designs.

There's no way to place ads on each video or the player.
As the script grabs contents from other sources, it uses the sources player, so it shows the sources ads.
You can place your ads on the whitespaces of your site, like promoting webcams, etc.

This is a quick solution for webmasters that want to have a tube site working in a simple way.

Good Question. PowerTube is still under development.
It will be a complete solution for a tube site (with lots and lots of tools). Very complete.

Automagick is a simpler solution, ro quickly set up a site.

I know the script is great. I've built it!

Now... seriously. tube8 has recently changed their videos (maybe due to a mistake, or maybe to avoid sites linking directly to the .flv file). In any case, I'll add a simple feature to check videos once in a while to verify their existance, and delete them or update them, etc.
