Hoping that a message of this nature might catch his attention. It appears he is ignoring me after he failed to send me my portion of an epass/paypal transfer.

Before it happened I did a search and it appeared he was a legit fellow having sold backlinks and done a previous balance swap. But now that I am owed the money he has ignored his ICQ messages from me as well as all my email messages. He simply has disappeared.

Help clear this up... Get me the money you owe me and I will make sure that this is simple misunderstanding is communicated to all the fine folks of GFY.

There is a guy using people's usernames and ICQ nicks to rip people off here, unfortunately, the chances are it wasn't even the guy you think it is.

One tip that has been givin here is to make anyone you are sending money too, verify they are who they say by putting a page on one of their known domains. IE, he says his name is XXXX you search XXXX here and see one of that names sites, and make him upload a txt file saying the date and his name.

Atleast if something goes bad you can say forsure who scammed you.

Just saw the other thread, and it wasnt the same situation as I implied.

Looks like it was the nick from here, since he posted in the thread with his username.

I have always hoped that this was a simple misunderstanding and now he has made contact with me. We'll see how things pan out.
