How's it going mr naughty pages. first things first, I haven't posted a reply to the question because I responded to both parties via email and icq. I was only able to reach one of
them, but we did discuss what we needed to discuss. My rates are flexible and I try to be fair to both myself and the client. In other words I don't like to post a set rate because I am negotiable.

just saying when multiple people ask the same exact question, it's kind of a clue you're missing out on something..

if you post replies publicly to the public questions, you might get better responses..

i.e.: I have over 80 old exclusive videos i need remasterd.. but by not responding to those people, it turns me off...

i know every job when it comes to this profession is different however, a simple public reply to a simple public question would probably increase your revenue business-wise...

just by giving a simple price "range" i.e.: minimal bloopers and minimal titles/credits = $X -$X+/- per 30 min of video, extensive blooper and titles/credits = $X-$X+/- color correction, special effects etc add $X-X

pretty simple to advertise rates.. it tends to generate more business..

if your rates are solid, you probably could have done a shitload of business over the past couple months from this post, but without giving people any info, you've cut yourself off at the knees..

Rates

Here's a rough estimate of my rates.

For 1 scene (20-30 min cut) without trailer and color correction $75-$150.

For 1 scene (20-30 min cut) with trailer and color correction $200-$300.

For a full movie $1000 - $2500.
