So I'm trying a little different marketing this time. The bottom line is I've been coding for many years, I put a lot of time and effort into writing fast, efficient and slim code with an emphasis on using as little of the server's resources as possible, search engine optimization, and making updating sites as easy as humanly possible (because lets face it, we're all lazy and hate wasting hours updating what should take minutes).
I'm looking to pick up some new clients, I held off taking on any new clients the last several months in favor of working on a new system and have been exclusively working for a couple members of this board in that time span to keep the business afloat and give the rest of my staff something to do so I didn't have to pay them for spanking it vids from our affiliate accounts ;)
If you want to see some recent work, cruise over to www.shooshtime.com, it was pretty much redone from the ground up and I think it turned out fairly well. High traffic sites, or servers with multiple sites need optimization and a high level of efficiency in the code or you're going to be wasting precious dollars on hardware, and losing users and pageviews do to slow load times. Everything I write I ensure that it's written the best way possible, I hate overly complicated file structures where there are 39752973497324 includes per page and changing stuff is a nightmare, when I get done there is a header, footer, a db file, functions file and then maybe 2 or 3 other actual code files, it's as sweet and to the point as possible, no bloating, it's straightforward and well organized without overcomplicating it and making it easy in the event you want to update something.
I'm not sure right now how many clients I'm looking to take on, it really depends on how much work I can keep up on, and if those people want new sites, or working on existing code, because it's so much easier to work from my own code and from scratch, and unless it's a significant amount of work, probably not looking to make a lot of little patches or changes to existing code if I can help it.
For new sites, unless it's something very extreme, I have a base code I've put a hell of a lot of work into that has most things you would want, and it's easy to rid of any extra code you don't or add new things into it. This speeds up the process, and I can spit out a new site in a day or two, or if there was actually some crazy need for it, probably an hour or two if I absolutely had to. For starts we're talking videos, html embed codes, plugs (and extra chosen plugs), automatic flash conversion, auto thumbnailing, url pulling (instead of having to download and reupload every piece of media), hardlinks, referer in/out tracking, trade accounts for plugs/chosen plugs, just to name a few, all on a really snazzy interface that makes updating and editing things a snap. If anyone is interested, my AIM and ICQ are both in my sig, email is [email protected] or feel free to ask any questions you've got here.
