[URGENT]
I'm looking for a talented PHP programmer to help iron out various bugs and add features to a CMS that I have designed, and then offer continuous paid assistance as we transition towards the next version.
The software is an image gallery coded completely within the Symfony framework. It is targetted for use by large communities and its current beta handles a listing of over 300,000 images. It is designed to be load balanced over multiple servers and uses memcached extensively.
US/Canadian only. Perferably someone on the East coast of Washington D.C. metropolitian area due to time zones.
Required
- A good eye for rich user interfaces
- Experience with one of the PHP frameworks (Symfony, CakePHP, etc.) or the ability to quickly
pick up in-depth knowledge of such within a 1-2 day training period (unpaid)
- Experience with regex or its variants
- Experience of working within a linux system remotely via SSH
- Ability to code OO cleanly, and write logical well commented PHP code
- Experience with XHTML coding and AJAX. You don't have to be a website design guru, but you
must be able to produce valid code that is easy to mark up via CSS
- Able to start soon (within one week). I'll provide you access to the development server and
personally go over each aspect with you before we jump into bug fixing and feature development.
Not required but desired:
- Design experience
- Experience with rolling out application servers where PHP runs over fastcgi
Contact me over
- ICQ: 388531564
Salary or Budget: To be discussed
