No offense or anything meant at all, but you want something in the $xxxx range for a domain that isn't a generic word or anything, but a typo, that is getting under 50 hits (or even uniques) a month?

Maybe i'm in the wrong game. I should start selling my domains that get a few hits a month... ;)

(again, this isn't a dig at you or anything, good luck with the sale, i just can't see how its worth that...)

Leapfish.com is full of shit. They said a domain that I sold for $10,000 is worth $684. Yeah. Whatever.

Fling.com doesn't steal your traffic and sales unlike some other dating companies. I promote them, and so should you!

not unless www.jeff.com becomes a million hits a day site. untill then its WORTHLESS just like your stats tell you. ~25 hits a month ZERO traffic

<wince> LeapFish is about the worst domaining resource on the planet.

Automated appraisals are exceptionally limited. I believe this name is worth barely over registration fee.

Dude. *sigh* Quoting Leapfish was a bad move.
I got a bump for ya, but you just showed your hand.
If you are going to quote values based on some outside source, at least go to one that is respected.

have to agree with the others on this one. leapfish isn't accurate..at all!...the domain is not getting much traffic..has no revenue..and isn't brandable at all (it's simply a typo)...I think you'd be lucky to get low xxx. I think if you get offered $100 for it you should take it in a heart beat.

                        just my 2 cents

I'm certainly no "pro" at domain marketing and what not. However, I made a very similar mistake registering a bunch of mis-spelled tv station .com's thinking I might get tons of traffic and be able to sell them for some high value..They were getting about the same amount of traffic as your typo and making small (very small) revenue..I got more than I paid to register them so that's always a plus, but I didn't get much (less than $40USD)

No need to delete the thread it's good to learn off of. If you're going to try and get in the domain business, especially trying to "squat" then it's something you will have to learn as you go. Believe me, noone out there is going to give you the "perfect" advice otherwise they'd be out of business. If you are ever going to try and "squat" by registering domain typos and misspellings then the only advice I will give you is to make sure the domain+extension has a very high Overture score. But as I said...I don't make a living off of selling domains. I'm not a pro but I would say I have always learned from my mistakes in that biz.

                            Okay..enough of my drunken rant

All the good domains are gone. GONE!
At this point everyone is grabbing at scraps, or waiting for something to drop.
Barring running into an idiot that doesn't know what he has, and that is rare, or some pop culture luck on what ever gibberish you have, most people who are in the domain game now, missed the great real estate run.

Here are some recent sales from this month:
                                http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm
It's been like this for years, and now they are getting down to average stuff and phrases.
                                People are not playing anymore.
It's been going on for 15 years, what are the odds of luck?

You are not going to be successful and realize any good opportunities, with nothing but "Hope"
