    Script: Random Recip

This one is for SEO purposes.
Ideal for LL's or TGP's recip pages or really any site where you have a link trade page up.

As you may know, Google and other SE's have started penalizing sites for having too many incoming links with anchor texts that are identical or too similar.

Still, you want those incoming links! You could ask submitters to change the anchor texts themselves, but the truth is, they just won't bother and if they do, they probably won't choose any text you like.

    The answer is Random Recip!

Basically it enables you to create dynamically generated recip pages that changes for every visit. The result? Each submitter will use different anchor texts and you will have a nicely varied set of incoming link texts! At the same time, you have complete control of what texts you want to see.

A sample can be seen here:

    Prize: $30
    Payment by Epassporte preferably
    Very simple installation!

nice script, but why would you want random recips?

Fris: I tried to explain that above. Many linklist and TGP owners (especially small or medium-sized sites) have seen their sites lose positions or even disappear altogether from Google listings ever since the Google "Big Daddy" update in 2006. One of the reported reasons is that Google nowadays doesn't like anchor texts that are too similar. If you have a TGP or LL, you are getting tons of incoming links with the exact same anchor text for a particular category. Google sees that and devalues the links because it screams out "I WANT TO RANK FOR THIS KEYWORD!".

With random recips you still get the incoming links, but each submitter get their own anchor text generated. Thus, incoming anchor texts will become a lot more varied, and they will appear to Google to be more organic (i.e. appear to be written by the person making making the link and not just copied from a recip page (even though they still are))

Another good thing about it is that you will be able to optimize your pages for more keywords than before (since the varied anchor texts provide more keywords for you to match).

        Hope that was informative.

Just for the record, this script could actually be used for a whole lot more than just creating recips, actually you could dynamically change just about anything on your site with it.

For example, it could easily be used to put random pictures/thumbs on your front page, or to select a daily random quote, or to rotate ads, etc. Anything "randomly selected" really.

Umm, maybe the above was a bit too long.

Basically, if you have 500 incoming links to your asian page and the link texts all say "Asian Porn", the modern Google will not like it. In fact, you may be dropped altogether because to Google you're obviously part of a "linking scheme". On the other hand, if only 75 of those 500 links say "Asian Porn" and the rest say various other things, Google will still rank you high for "Asian Porn" while you can also try to rank for other keywords, AND Google won't think the links are suspicious.
