Wanted SEO expert

any SEO 'experts' prepared to work on a 'paid on results' basis? I know that few will do that, as most would rather take your money and then achieve bugger all for you. But maybe, just maybe, there are some that are confident in their ability to rank websites and happy to work mainly on a results basis.

However I'm a realist, I know there are no magic bullets to jump into a top Google spot and I know SEO can take time and is dependant upon the competition. So you won't be doing work for someone who is in dreamland.

However like most of us, I've lost plenty of money over the years on SEO that achieved nothing. So I was wondering if anyone is good enough to get paid on what they achieve, not what they promise to achieve.

I did that once, but the customer runaway with work that was done without deliver his part of the deal. How you would offer any security for future payments?

Here's why you're not going to find anyone for this:

This is a recipe for getting fucked.

As you know, SEO doesn't work overnight. So I'm Joe SEO, doing on-page fixes, creating or spending money out of pocket paying writers, building backlinks which can also cost money, and for what? 5 months in you say you're out and suddenly months 6-12 my efforts finally come to fruition. Shit, not only did I lose my time but also came out of pocket.

You want to talk to someone who can get shit done?
Made it in January, put up some content, didn't touch it again until after the 4th of July.

Additionally, if someone is doing "performance SEO" they're going to do it for themself. You want traffic? Set up a referral or affiliate program and have affiliates focused on SEO work with you.
