OK. So I'm looking for feedback on an idea.
I review hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of domains each day. That's what I do full time ... and have done full time for several years now. Everything from buying and selling domains to building elaborate systems for handling domains.
Almost daily, I spot adult-related domains of pretty good quality. But I just walk past them. I don't buy the adult domains anymore because I've found the resale prospects in this niche to be worse than average for me compared to other sectors. I've still got adult domains, but I've stopped adding to the pile.
It seems like a waste for be running across good domains and not connecting them to somebody.
So I'm wondering if there's a way for me to give someone in adult entertainment the benefit of the work I'm already doing without my having to buy up all the domains and then charge one of you a premium.
One win-win solution would be if I had one large-scale adult company or a handful of webmasters paying me by the month to pass along domain purchase ideas. I'd simply report whatever I find as I find it. They'd be able to buy the domains at cost -- usually for $10, $20 or under $100. And it would be completely up to them whether to buy the domains. I'd have no agenda or ulterior motives. If my services weren't worthwhile, we'd just stop.
For this to work out, I guess I'd need to find someone who spends enough money on domains every month to justify paying me to help them get better, cheaper domains more efficiently. Nothing against smaller operators. But for someone buying domains in low volume and not caring about quality, the amount of improvement I'd be able to offer probably wouldn't justify the expense.
Thoughts?
