Caution - fraud!

Hi guys, so I`m next naive victim of fraud from guy who run Sponsor chat. He using name Dave, but his own name is probably different. Using email @nfvltd.com.

He buys my domain Webmasterland.com and paid by Paypal echeck..but I was stupid to transfer this domain name to him sooner than echeck was cleared...and of course, his echeck was not cleared. Than he started 3 months of emails like "sorry bro, will paypal your money in next week" etc.

So I`ve lost my domain, don`t be stupid as I was :-D

if he cannot show payment, then the domain is still yours. Contact your registrar and have them put it back into your account. GoDaddy has said, they will do that and let the two of you handle it in court. That is their preferred method.

Really? When I contacted Godaddy, they told me, that if I had transfered this domain by myself, than they can`t do anything and I have to put him in court... what is around 500usd just for opening case..

I do not know where you are.

A small claims is 150 or less and the civil center will walk you through the process. Then show godaddy and the other registrar the court order and they will put the domain back in your account. In the meantime, let him build the traffic for you.

maybe the worse thing than the loss of the money is how these assholes acting. Unlimited excuses and finely they write to you like THEY are victims of payee and not that payee is a victim. Unbelievable, but true.

This Butcher have this audacity to set rules how he will pay me after these three months...and he offering standard no-certified cheque...what is just paper of 0.01usd value and can be stopped anytime. I think he have funny time now.

Also I`m going for legal action against him, so if here are other victims, please let me know, the more the better.

btw Paypal and Godaddy have his real records and they will cooperate with federal police so that`s really not a problem.
