    Email accounts

    Why does so many people on this site have professional services such as content providers and web masters yet they don't have a branded email account. It is always @hotmail or @gmail. I'm a developer and for 25 quid a year i can set up a .com domain and a 500mb inbox (not huge but enough) then just provide you the details to send and receive.

    Let me know if this is any use.

    @whatever doesn't matter.
    What does matter are the services you're in need of at that very moment.

      It's much more professional looking when someone has their own domain and it is more likely people will do business with you.

        I can't imagine anyone hiring someone based on their email, as long as they were quick and reliable who cares what email they use?

          Have to agree with Dreamsites, can't take serious if someone is selling he's 1k usd month business with an [email protected] mail, but yea, for little deals why not, no need to have a host for e-mail. But still it's more professional if you use branded e-mail specially for webmasters and content producers, it's not hard tho for them.
