New Here, how do I prevent viruses from attacking?

Hi, I'm new here, I had my site made and it went live about a month ago and now it is being attacked by viruses How do I prevent this? What causes it? What can I do? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks for all your help!!

You have to search for the virus strand in your website and clean it. also you need to notify google if google banned your website.

You must right click each file, click edit with, choose notepad, then read all the gibberish to see if you see anything that says virus.

There is no problem in downloading html files.

If your website is submitted in "google webmasters" they will detect the possible virus and notify you.. else if you have to detect it yourself... or else you can upload you previous backup files and clean it.

Thank you guys for all your help and thanks for the welcomes. It's hard to stay calm! I'm so stressed, I'm worried its effected business.. As of now the site has reverted back to an earlier version and I am moving it to a virtual dedicated server. Found a local guy to help but he is not familiar with awiz and adult stuff... The current webmaster has abandoned me and now the awiz is not working right and he's the only one who can fix. Uggghhh!!

Just two things:-

1) If you are using WordPress, then probably the infection could be in one of the theme.

2) What your host is doing in this regards? Didn't you inform your host as most of the times they are supposed to take care of this.

and verify ppur scripts for updates.,
upgrade them regularly including ur server os and apps.
