I am curious what the average is for people...

I am bidding .05 per click and campaigns are getting around 1.5% avg for very selective terms curious what everyone else avg's

Depends on the keyword. I have some that are at 15% others as low as 1%. Only shitty part is the 15% keyword is $0.15.

mine CTR is 0.5% - 1.5%, however, at the beginning ( 3 weeks ago ) I had some problems with maintaining the min. CTR.
Now it's OK.
I am bidding from $0.05 to $0.07.
I wonder what's the keyword that gets 15% CTR...

BTW, what's your conversion ratio with Ad Words ?

BTW - for many non-US countries http://www.sex.com distributes its advertising directly to Google Adwords and Premium Ads

im at 5% ctr rate and i had 2 sales today.. very shitty.. and i had ppl canceling their membership too.. oh well, hopefully more sales soon

it is very much country dependent as well. For example, we have an ad running only in Japan with CTR of 15%-20%...so you might look at geotargeting

I used to convert at 1:15 with adwords&flashcash last few months(paying about 10 to 15 cents per click), but lately it's getting worse, last period I was on 1:40.
Clickrate doesen't depends only on word, but also on ad you use.
Try "Absolutely Free porn Videos" headline & you'll see great clickrate & your bank account balance will reach zero in few weeks. You'll get no sale.
Try "Porn Video site. Free Trial with credit card" instead. You'll have much lower click rate, much less clicks(less $ spent), but great conversions(with great sites, of course).

unfortunately I have no idea, but I seem to make more than I spend..

Important note though, an article I read, there isn't necessarily a correlation between high CTR and sales. It just means more people who see it click on it.

but more peopleseeing ur site will let u have a greater chance of selling ur product. And its SE, so the ratios should be alot lower

it all depends on how u market ur products... like someone said, ur bidding for free porn, ur gonna get fucked
