    I need a new ISP

My ISP has decided to they want to concentrate on larger accounts only, so I need a new one. It's a shame, because they had a bulletproof network that could scale with most any peak demand. Here's what I'm looking for in my dream hosting service:

    Scalability
I need to know that if we get mentioned on Howard Stern or slashdot our site will still be accessible five minutes later and throughout the day. Old ISP was willing to temporarily commit additional load balanced servers to the venture with 24 hours notice. We would just pay for the bandwidth.

    Vendor-neutral backbone from multiple providers
I don't want to get totally hosed if ATT's backbone stops performing.

    Responsive, first-rate technical support
respond to my e-mails within a few hours and be willing to discuss matters on the phone if necessary.

    Data center
Conditioned power, climate control, generator backups, network lines enters the building from different sides. You know the deal.

    Monitoring
if I figure out there's a problem, they should already know it and be working toward resolution. In God we trust, networks (and servers) we monitor. Okay, I can monitor my site, ISP goto and blind so I had him who should be monitoring

Semi or fully managed UNIX/linux servers
I don't care if we have shared hosting or our own server. I just want someone else to apply all the necessary patches in a timely fashion. I don't even need a command line login as long as ISP is willing to install a few packages (Gallery, phpBB) for me and connect one of them to a mySQL database.

    Reasonable price
Experienced, adult friendly hosting for a reasonable monthly fee (let's say less than $50 for first 25 Gig) with overages at less than 1 dollar per Gig. We have about a gigabyte of disk space with five sites in use with about 100 different domain names all pointing at them for Web & e-mail.

If anyone has a recommendation please e-mail BlueTech at the domain BeautyBound.com.

    Thanks,

hit me up. info in sig.

        edit:

scalability? how about a load balanced cluster that can transparently scale up and out without any downtime?

vendor-neutral backbone? welcome to equinix, carrier-agnostic facilities.

        data center? see above.

monitoring? i'm a customer currently. they get an email within 30 seconds if any one of my webservers (in a load balanced cluster) goes down. luckily, i don't even care, because i have other webservers maintaining the traffic flow easily.

managed servers? if they don't do it, i will, just for being a customer with them. they'll give me a good deal for referring them business, so it's in my interest to do what it takes to land you there.

support? see above. they have on-site hands as well as someone such as myself can help you with remote/sysadmin needs. depending on the hardware you want, it all comes with 4 hour vendor on-site support packages.

i've got many people here who can vouch for me and my technical abilities, and i can vouch for my host.
