Camcorder Back Light Question

Hi, Does anyone know if there is software out there to "undo" the Back Light button on a Sony camcorder?

We accidetnly hit it, so the captured video is all washed out, but the video still looks good on the camcorder LCD screen... which makes me think it should be able to be captured the way the LCD shows it.

What video editing software are you using? what camera do you have and can you show a sample of the video?

I am not aware of any such software but may be a professional video artist or studio can help you out.
