Webmasters and background checks

I was just wondering if affiliation with porn sites shows up in background checks. I feel like it might because the SSN is involved and your name is registered with a web site. I am not that worried because I have a job lined up, but I have realized that a few nice jobs that I thought I had in the bag fell through for unknown reasons. If anyone has any information on this I would appreciate it for future reference. Also if it does show up on background checks, is there a way to erase these affiliations?

It would depend on how thorough of a background check is done. It wouldn't show up on a basic background check, but a more extensive one may find it.
