TGP without mysql database

I really dont like mysql database. Mostly i am to lazy to save them. Thats why i am looking for a TGP Script without database.

Does anybody knows something like that?

RSTGP uses a .txt file for the galleries.

"Normal" TGPs needs very much recources and a good server, as what i hear from friends. Its the same wie RSTGP?

Well Yeah Tgp's can be a load on your server and more so if your using hosting with a shared server! But it all depends on the amount of traffic your getting through your site plus if you allow webmasters to post galleries to it all those images being loaded to your hosting also eats away your bandwidth....but its not as bad on your server if you set it up as a fake Tgp were you only use sponsor galleries then you can control the load put on your server!

But i dont see a answer on my question if RSTGP needs also a big server.

What's wrong with MySQL? Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't good. For the number of galleries a TGP needs to have, you're going to need a database of some kind whether it's MySQL, SQLite or something else. Flat files won't cut it.

hi,

RSTGP use no cronjobs, no sql db, no zend or such. It only reads text files so it's not a big server resources consuming script. Give that script a try, i'm pretty sure you will love it based on it's simplicity... but sure i'm biaised ;)
