Google Alerts /Anyone use it ? **Test Thread **

I was looking for a forum tracker /monitor and someone mentioned google alerts.... does it monitor for keywords on forums ? just signed up for it...

Anyone here use it and in what capacity ...thanks

Please totally ignore most of the posts so I can test and see what it does.....as I dont really have any other way to test and figure it out other than with a bullshit type reply thread with keyword posts...

You are only going to get told about something next time Google scans gfy. I would have expected anything that is real-time monitoring for keywords in threads to hammer the server too.

Thanks ...well it had options such as monitor a site ...and check---- as it happens --- 1hr-----everyday etc so I thought maybe it might be quick if I chose the " as it happens "time option.

Since my first post a guy contacted me offering to build a script/tracker and I would market it......so keep a look out for it in a few months ...
