How many Google hits per day?

How many Google hits do you guys and girls get a day to your sites, individually or collectively.

Collectively, I'm getting about 40 to 50 a day from the Googlebots. The highest day was something like 67 hits. They are coming from the Mountain View, Cal. Googlebot, as well as Australia, Europe, Quinter, Shepardsville, New York and so on. In all, I'm getting hits from about 18 different Googlebot locations around the world multiple times a day. Is this a good number or do I need to get that higher?

You are very right, the important part is the surfers. I can't imagine 26K a day from GoogleBots, yeah, they do need to start buying memberships!

I get about 200 unique visitors a day.

Some things you need to understand:

1. it's not that important how many hits you get cuz if google or any other search engines crawls a pic gallery with 16 pics and 3 banners then that visitor or google created 19 hits. So all the answers here (so far) seem to be about hit amounts and not unique visitors.

2. So you have a lot of unique visitors from google....so fucking what.
If you don't make them convert the only thing you've got is a higher hosting bill...so what's important is making the visitors convert some how. That ain't easy, so don't get all worked up with all the numbers you see, just make sure the couple that you do get actually convert to a sale. Something that I haven't got figured out yet either.

3.Install Google Analytics (GA) and you will get pretty good insights which keywords people are searching and landing on your page. Make sure you check out that landing page and tweak it frequently so you can test what works better.
Sales are hard to get lately so you can test your page by time on page, bounce rate and exit out pages (do people leave your site after viewing that page or do they browse other pages (meaning they like your content/site or have nothing to do all day)

Stats say everything but you have to interpret them properly so you tweak and make your site a better one....sales will come and because you optimized your site google will like your site as well.
