What is wrong with this gallery?

I can't figure it out for the life of me. In IE8 (with and without compatibility turned on) this gallery is screwed and only shows the thumbs. However, in all other browsers it is just fine.

Any ideas? All our other galleries are working just fine.

That's what is messing you up. Your whole page seems to be filled with that.

I wonder why it would do that? It shows fine on all other browsers. Not at all sure what I should change to make it work. Do have I need to scrap that template all together?

No, just close the broken a href tags. It's invalid HTML right now. I'm surprised any browser renders it correctly. Easy fix.
