    Language Sites: Subdomain or ccTLD?

I'm creating portuguese and spanish version of a website. SEO-wise should I use a subdomain or a ccTLD (country code TLD) for portuguese:

    br.yourdomain.com OR
    yourdomain.br

And for spanish, should I use one subdomain like
es.yourdomain.com, or ccTLD for the most trafficked countries (according to my analytics), like

    mx.yourdomain.com (mexico)
    ve.yourdomain.com (venezuela)
"I use the Google to pull up maps."

    yourdomain.com/br/ - gets my vote...
