Need Yahoo Groups/Topica clone script

Greetings,

I´ve crawled the web after a simple mailing list program, that allows all members to send emails to the entire list/group, like Yahoo Groups or Topica, but I can´t find a good one.
I´ve searched all scripts directories...
If anyone knows something like this, even if not for free (but it must be cheap, this is for a non profit use), please sticky me!
It would be great if such a script had a protection so that only registered members could send mails to the list, to avoid spammers.

Well, it seems noone knows such a script. Is it really so difficult to create one? I think there would be a lot of buyers for that (there are a lot of groups out there), and it doesn´t seem a difficult script to build, but I´m not a coder...

Majordomo is the most widely used program like that. A lot of hosts already have it installed.

I was looking for something commercial, because they are usually easier to install. I know majordomo, but I wanted something more simple... but I guess I´ll have to use something like that.
There are some others, command line based, like Sympa.org and Mailman.
I liked Sympa, and I know some sites that use it, and it´s nice, but like Majordomo, we have to install it from the source files (compile it, etc), because they no longer distribute the rpms/binaires.
Damn, I´m on a virtual hoster, I can´t create dedicated users, and things like that. And I can´t have root access...
As to rentacoder, and things like that, yeah I thought about it, but that won´t come cheap, and this script isn´t for making money... so I was looking for some made script, under $40, but it seems that there isn´t... you can find hundreds of newsletters/optin signup scripts, but no discussion list/group script... is it really so hard to code?

In Hotscripts I didn´t find any discussion list script, but only mailing list managers. I need the ability for members to send mails each others. Maybe I missed one good script in the middle of the others. Or maybe the description of that good script wasn´t focusing on what I want.
How much did it cost that custom made script? Do you want to resell it cheap ;) ? Do you have resell rights for that?
For you having to ask some coder to make one, I guess there aren´t no good ready-made scripts on the market...
