I suggest you be very careful with it. So not to spam.
Great place to make announcements. Make sure to only post in appropriate places. I only post in pantyhose/nylon groups because it's relevant to my niche.
I just use outlook express to post to them.
It's probably not a good idea to post to many at once as you would be considered a spammer. -
Another tip is not to use an obvious title that translates to: "Look at my site! You can tell I'm spamming!".
Use luring words and catch phrases.

I thought everything posted to newsgroups is considered spamming, isn't it? Even if you post a site that contains further links, to sponsors...I don't use ICQ anymore.Comment

It's not worth it.... Newsgroup people aren't stupid and they get ALOT of free stuff thus making them a bunch of freeloading leeches!Comment
