I have an adult site that also has a store. Right now my merchant company (GTbill), processes my subscriptions to the porn and the store purchases. My store is built using OScommerce. The store works well enough, but I hate it. It's clunky, complicated and old. Most of all, it makes users create accounts to buy something and go through way too many steps to check out.
My store sells 1 tshirt, some buttons and some model worn clothing -- no sex toys.
I have shopped better store solutions before and have never found anything willing to work with adult, but recently I found out that shopify (shopify.com) is willing to! They have great store solutions -- I recently built one for a non-porn client. However, all the merchants shopify works with will not work with adult. I begged them to hook up with GTbill and had GTbill pursue it, but they wouldn't/couldn't form the relationship, for some reason.
I'm just wondering if anyone out there has been in the same situation as me and found a solution with the store software + merchant?
I'm in Canada too which complicates things sometimes.
