Blog Experts - i need your help, please!

let's say i have 80 blogs that i would like to link with each other:

    - on how many IPs/hosting accounts would you divide them?

    - what's the best way to link them? i assume you dont put 79 links on each blog

    thanks

I would get as many IPS as I could. I personally dont put more than 5 blogs/domains on each IP.

Honestly it depends on you, how much you plan to put into them hours wise and what you plan to get out of them.

Dont forget to think about what else might be on the server you use. And by that I mean shared hosting accounts

I wouldn't put anymore than 5 domains on an ip and separate them over multiple class-C ips. Also, slowly build your links, don't throw up links to 79 other blogs in one day. the G-machine likes to see progressive building instead of link spamming. If you wanted to get fancy, you could do ABC linking.

thanks, appreciate that very much! but even with virtual accounts it should be possible to get dedicated IPs? i think some do offer that and i would definitely go for it

thanks, 5 seems to be a good number, i'll go for that.

              regarding the ABC linking:

that means i link from Blog A to Blog B and from Blog B to Blog C, right? and do I link from Blog C back to Blog A as well?

thanks again - still learning about this

Linking from Blog C back to Blog A could be seen by GoogleBot as intent to manipulate your page ranking. Also, if you have too many it could look like paid links.

You could also link through comments and trackback's in your blog posts.

MaDalton: use some blogs as outgoing, the rest as incoming. a 25/75 ratio would do nicely. The outgoing ones are the ones that need to be spread over several servers/IPs, and they obviously would link to the incoming ones.

Really difficult decision. I, personally, do not link my blogs with each other.Never.
Let's say you buy some hardlinks for all your blogs.( Here you can find many offers).
What happens in case that the links you buy are on interconnected pages?
The most obvious neighbourhood case. You just penalised your network.

I mainly link niche related blogs and don't pay much attention to different ip's. It works for me.

in googles case the good of the few out weigh the good of the many.
