Why is my site not converting?

We are still in the early stages of rolling out our site, but are concerned that our initial traffic is not downloading our free trial.

Our program download is a 12 Mb install, but with loads of features. Most stop during the download.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks

    Dave
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I dunno why people are cancelling out of the download, I'm downloading relatively fast.

Anyways, I'd recommend a full-size screenshot of the browser for those interested.

AdultNex - Good idea. We owe you one.

NineNine - Thanks for the post. We are a broadband browser so we don't expect dial up. Should we make it more prominent that we are broadband?

No, otherwise, those 56kers *cough* will think the browser wouldn't be compatible with a 56k modem.

The idea of paying a monthly fee to use a program on your computer isn't exactly common. This to me is a major turn-off, and I've never even heard of it.

You don't do a very good job of explaining why I should drop my free IE, and pay $6 per month for yours.
