TGP software that will work on hostgator?

Can somebody point me towards a TGP software that will work on a hostgator account?

I was planning to use comus thumbs, but it appears they are offline.

I tried to install Smartthumbs, but hostgator blows a hissy fit when you chmod 777 files (which st requires).

I'm looking for a free program (I dont' care if it takes some of the clicks, as long as I can upgrade and remove that in the future).

I'm trying to build my first tgp, so I would appreciate any help you good folks could provide

You can 777 on a HG shared account.

Good luck finding a script that will work on there .. they shared servers are locked down tight.

Why hostgator? That seems like a very poor choice for anything but a personal site. If you're in the business to make money, get a real host.

alll tgo software can work in any kind of server as long as your server have a specs needed by the tgp software!!

Why you hosting at hostgator? They are good for personal sites, not business sites.

Take a look at the special in my signature, it would be your server with root access, so no hissy fits.

I used to have a dedicated with HostGator. Never had a problem with it. The support wasn't the greatest though. Some shared accounts won't let you do certain things. You may need to upgrade.

I didn't spam a host. I told you that you need to find another host. I made no recommendations. If you didn't spend all your money on weed maybe you could afford a better host. I don't think you're ready to run your own business, Cheech.

Simply put I'm not prepared to blow $200-$300/month on hosting costs when I'm just starting out. I do not expect my first adult site to make a ton of money, hostgator is cheap, allows adult content, and gives me a chance to play around in this industry a bit and figure out what I'm doing before I get serious with something.

I don't know how you do business, but I don't like to drop hundreds of dollars into a project that may or may not work, especially when it's something I haven't done before.

Despite the lack of help here, it looks like Comusthumbs' website came back online today and I got it working on my hostgator account, which is a start.

try comusthumb it will run perfectly on that host. and service is great with gatorhost i have two account and a dedi there. Nothing wrong with that company.

Okay since your new, i'll help you out... call Chris over at colo-cation.com and tell em sharphead sent ya... their virtual offering are low priced and stable stable stable and you can do you own installs (if you want) and since its fully managed, they can install it for you. They have a ton of experience in adult, hosting some of the larger adult networks, so your well covered.

Just a happy client of theirs, which is why I don't use a ref code.
