bought 3 TGPs ...could use some help :(

Hey!

I picked up 3 TGPs from somebody on the forum, these are my first sites and I think I bit off more than I can chew! I've been reading the Arrow Scripts guides from their site to understand it a bit better.

I've been told I need to have really a really high prod % ...well the best I have is 35% on playtoyprincess.net, which is terrible I believe.

I'm not looking to make a killing here but a few hundred a month would be awesome and I know the sites are capable of doing just that.

We have all been there. Welcome to the 'I bit off more than I could chew' club. If you need help cleaning up your site from malicious nasties and need advice on building trades, hit me up on icq (its in my sig).

Your probably going to have to re-examine all your trades to see how many are also doing malicious nasty things to generate traffic. Your traffic will probably drop. Your not looking for quantity so much as you are looking for quality. A lot of people generate huge traffic bases using deceptive practices but they are not making any sales because they have no production.

If you are going to get into the trade game, you should familiarize yourself with forces, production, ratios and places like findtrades.com , protect-x.com and read the documenation at arrowscripts.com about your product. There are a lot of people willing to reach out and help new traders because the more people that are focused on solid production, the more people have to trade with.

There will also be a bunch of people trying to sell you things like traffic, a different script, memberships to blacklists, etc. I am not saying that these are bad things, but I would focus on learning what it is you have on your plate, before you start taking more bites.

Its free advice, take it for what its worth. Good luck with your project and feel free to hit me up anytime.

As for the warning message from Google, once everything is moved over ..ill get in touch with them to have the site analyzed again.

Those huge thumb sites have always suffered from low productivity. Shrink the thumbs down...way down. Drop trades who use the same huge thumb format. Move your content closer to the top. Get some real content above the fold.

Anyway, I haven't run tgp's in a while so I'm not sure how the market is. From what I hear it's 10 times worse than a few years ago, but if you put in some solid work, you should make a few hundred I guess.
It's good to hear that there are still people here that are willing to help the newbies.

Yea, I'll be cleaning up the code to best of my abilities to improve the site(s). I believe that's how the site(s) we're "making money" ...via pop-ups.

I know a guy that is making MAJOR bank from the huge thumbs,. but it all depends on how you display it.

I would keep them but have less and the rest smaller.. Do them based on the gallery productivity.

Depends whether you mean 60% trade prod or 60% "all clicks" prod. The former is reasonable, the latter is horrible.

trade prod: (skimmed_clicks / site_loads) * 100
all clicks prod: (all_clicks / site_loads) * 100

Most scripts count all clicks when calculating prod but there's some (such as TM3) which only count trade clicks.

yea i know ...it seemed like a good idea to get those domains! ...this is my little network so far, i want to re-develop all of the sites ...I'm low on cash atm so i can't really hire coders/designers ...

Start with one. Something you are interested in. Figure out if you want a tube or a tgp or mgp or whatever. First things first. Once you know what you want to do, start the next step. In other words, don't get ahead of yourself. Listen to what bmchunu said about what sharphead said.
