Windows media encoder help Pretty Please

Hi all you smart guys/gals out there!
    I am on my way...lol!
I have had my own site for the last few years going from webmaster to webmaster and not getting what I need. We don't have alot of people here in our vity doing thiskind of work so it's been hard. So I decided to take over and do it myself. I have been editing all my recent vids/pictures and doing agreat job...but of vourse I have ran into an issue with compressing my video's using Windows Media Encoder and I am using a CanonGl2 camcorder. Can anyone take a look at my setting's and tell me what I am doing wrong?
I am also wondering what software I can use to make my vids Mac user friendly?
I know everyone is busy but if you know this stuff I am hoping you can just spare me a few minutes of your precious time ...pretty please! I am learning alot and hope to make alot of new changes to my site to make it look Fresh and Horny...lol!
Thanks to all that can help and kisses to everyone reading this too!

Drop the raw footage onto your pc in .AVI format, then import that footage into a solid editing app. (Adobe Premiere etc..). Once editing is complete, fiddle around in these export proximities:

        FOR BEST QUALITY

        Export Format: Quicktime
        Preset: Custom
        24 bit color
        Video Codec: H.264
        Quality: 100
        Width: 640 Height: 480
        Framerate: default
Pixel aspect ratio: Square pixels 1.0
        Bitrate: 14,000 or so
        Audio: Apple Lossless 44khz
