If so what about MGP. I have launched 4 TGPs and I get 100 uniques per day but no signups at all. And I check my sponsor stats. One week 6-700 Uniques but not one signup. Any ideas guys

Thanks for the signup. I suggest that you post your own galleries on the BIG tgps and link back to your TGPs.

That will get you search engine placement if you do your keywording properly, and should set a stable plateau of traffic you can use to gradually build trades.

Also check the #1 search results for your targeted keywords and research their backlinks and html/keywords/metatags.

I don't think tgps are dead. I think it has everything to do with how you market your tgp tgp site. Buy some traffic, do the link exchanges, submit to as many directories as you can, optimize your site for the search engines...etc. I really don't think it matters if whether your site is a tgp or mgp.

I run a paysite that is primarily a photo based site but my affiliates are bringing in several sales per hour and all throughout the day. Some are bringing in nearly 25 sales per day....and that's PER affiliate.

Most of these guys operate PICTURE tgp sites....so yeah, doesn't matter whether your promoting photos or movies....as long as you market your site to a large audience of surfers...and you sign up with the right affiliate programs. But again, you have to get your site out there to as many surfers as possible.

Expect to convert at 1:5000 and higher on tgp traffic mate, I have launched several new tgp's over last few months and am doing more there not dead and dont think they ever will be....

dude...1st thing i suggest you DROP awe as a sponsor, they keep coming up with new ways to cut down overall webmaster earnings and their revshare is among the worst in the webcam industry

I like to promote cam programs that let the surfer chat for free before he signs up. They surf, they see the model, they can go into free chat. No need for a login. It's just a personal preference. But I don't wanna hijack this thread anymore. It's supposed to be about TGPs. And yes, they are alive.

Theres some really good points made in this thread. But anyway, TGPs are far from dead.

- You need to buildup your traffic to a greater degree.
Turn of all Feeder Traffic.
1. Find TGP sites similar to yours.
A. Similar in Content, Similar to Traffic Quality, and Similar to Size.
2. Signup to trade with 15-25 sites using the parameters above.
3. Turn feeder back on and watch your trades grow.
4. Screen the trades after 24 hours. If quality is really bad cut them.

- You need to increase the quality of your traffic.
1. If you're shaving visitors to your trades via blindlinks your reducing your traffic quality. This needs to be minimized as much as possible.
2. Look at who your trades are and look at who their trades are. If you see popups or spyware on any of their trades drop them immediately.
3. On a Pic TGP turn on "first click" or more to gallery.
4. If you are starved for traffic but need to increase quality place your Toplist of trades into strategic places such as the top or sides of content.

- You need to matchup your content to your sponsor.
Example - If you're running a Pic TGP try to promote a Pic Sponsor of the same niche.
